Building on three years of community-engaged artwork in the Dufferin / Eglinton area, STEPS is continuing to produce its “Woven” series in Walter Saunders Park.

Drawing inspiration from both the area’s rich textile history, as well as the role that the York Beltline plays in weaving the communities of of Briar Hill, Belgravia, the Fairbanks together, this family friendly series of park animation uses textile arts to get community members engaged in transforming this green space.

Grab your creative projects and join STEPS for some Public ARTivism this summer in collaboration with artists Kate Austin, and Bareket!

This program is supported by the Toronto Arts Foundation’s Arts in the Park Program, as well as Kiwanis Toronto.
