The goal of this workshop, led by graffiti writer JAH is to engage young people in various forms of street art so that meaningful discussion can take place around ownership and beautification of public spaces in the city. Participants select a local public space they see potential in to photograph and then collage onto it ideas for how it could be transformed through graffiti or other forms of street art.

Participants and youth facilitators deal with questions of public space and how graffiti fits into our vision for a better city. They are challenged to think about street art on a community level – encouraging them to think about how the spaces they pass on a daily basis could be improved through the use of mural art or other art installations.
